Since they are a product of crossbreeding two great breeds: Bichon Frise breed with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, it’s now wonder one of their prominent physical characteristics is their huge, sweet eyes. The Cavachons have long floppy ears and silky coat. Typical coat colors include Blenheim (white with apricot patches), Tri-color (black, white, and tan or black and white), and Ruby (dark apricot with little or no white).
The Cavachon is a new breed. They were first bred back in 1996 by crossbreeding a Bichon Frise breed with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed, producing a very cute looks and lovely powder puff coats. They are also known for their nice temperaments.
