The origin of English Springer Spaniel could be traced back to Spain several centuries ago. Spaniel in today’s sense have been described from around 16th century and it was used to flush special birds as early as before the invention of guns. In the year around 1904, the England Club started to recognize the breed and it was recognized by American Kennel Club around early 20th century. The breed is famous for obedience, hunting and finding objects.
